Mila is a designer, teacher and performer.
In 2020 she graduated from KABK, Royal Academy of Art in The Hague.
Since then she has been working as an assistent designer, while also teaching circus and looking for opportunities to develop her own work.
Having such different work fields makes her interested in mixing disciplines.
Her knowledge as a designer makes her push for more creativity in the curriculum of circus, while her knowledge as a circus teacher
and performer makes her interested in exploring movement and interaction within design.
In the end the discipline becomes irrelevant. Mila’s work questions how you can better connect with yourself, with your body, your surroundings
and the people around you, and, above all, how we, as a teacher, designer, performer or fellow human can help others in this process.
